How big are they? Are there different sizes? How do I know what to buy?
Did you know there’s only 1.1cm difference between extra small and extra large? If you’re anything like we were, you’re super confused when attempting to buy condoms for a hopeful night out/upcoming festival. Do you just go...medium? Or large - don’t want to insult him? It’s a minefield. Well, we’ve made it simple for you. With ‘one size fits most’, these condoms are 53mm nominal width in straight form with a reservoir end. Basically; a standard size, with a 'barely there' feel, it’s slim without the shady part. No hard decisions required.
Can I use lube with it? What type?
Darling it’s better down where it’s wetter. As Get Down condoms are made with latex, we only date lubricants that are water-based. Silicone and oil based lubricants actually damage latex, so would make these condoms less effective. Stay away from those oil-based lubes that damage latex condoms and could make them less effective.
Does it contain latex? I have an allergy.
So latex is a milky fluid that comes from the rubber tree, and is the main source of natural rubber. Get Down condoms are made with 100% natural rubber, so if you are latex-sensitive or latex-allergic, we suggest you swipe left on us for now. You could check out condoms made with plastic, or synthetic rubber; stay safe ladies. And remember, if irritation occurs, always see your doctor, just in case.
What does vegan-friendly mean?
To make latex smooth and flexible, most condoms contain casein, which is derived from milk, and gives latex that weird smell. Get Down condoms are vegan friendly, so no casein, no animal derivatives, and no weird smell. Ever heard of vegan sex? Well, you have now.
How does the game work? What am I flipping?
Our ‘A Little Head or Tail’ game is your one stop shop for asking for what you want. A truth or dare style game, simply flip the condom in its foil wrapper, and follow the menu inside the pack to work out whether you ask a question, or give some love. It’s up to you how far you go… and why not listen o our sexy times curated playlist whilst playing, to really get in the mood?
How do I dispose of it once I’m finished?
Save our seas - these condoms are for the trash only. Latex condoms are not biodegradable (for obvious reasons, they wouldn’t be too effective otherwise), and can therefore be damaging to marine life if flushed. Bin his swimmers, and do the good deed.
